Our 4th graders recently completed a meaningful service project as part of the Mind Up program, where they have been learning about the brain and how to regulate emotions.

Mr. Matt’s class created thank-you cards for the Clearfield Police Department and invited officers to visit and receive the notes and treats in person.

Ms. Hinojosa’s class spread kindness with surprise “kindness pranks,” writing encouraging notes and leaving treats at classroom doors before running away to keep it a secret.

We’re proud of our students for putting what they’ve learned into action and making a positive impact!

Their first competition is coming up in January! A big thank you to Maddi Constant, our robotics teacher, who has been working with robotics for 11 years. Good luck, Smart Stingrays!

Our desks may be small, but our hearts are bursting with love for our students!

A tall teacher sitting at a small student's desk.
Kindergarten students joyfully explore music through movement, using scarves to follow directions and respond musically to a song. This arts-integrated lesson is part of an 8-week internship experience through Weber State University, in partnership with the Arts Learning Collaborative, Davis School District, and BTS Arts. Pre-service teachers gain hands-on experience in elementary music classrooms, working alongside seasoned educators to bring creativity and collaboration to life.

Thank you parents for all the Staff Shout Outs this week - it's awesome to get these and celebrate our fantastic staff! This Shout Out is for Mrs. Hansen and Ms. T - "Mrs. Hansen and Ms. T Are an amazing team and care about their students. My little second grader was having a hard time and became emotional with changes that were happening in his classroom. They took the time to talk to my student and comfort him and this ment the world as a parent! We love these sweet ladies! 💕"

We received another Staff Shout Out! Please keep them coming!! This one is for Mrs Leavitt. "Mrs. Leavitt's love goes far beyond just the classroom. It doesn't matter if you have a current student, past student, or you don't even have a student in her classroom at all, she cares about everyone she meets. She reaches out on a personal level to make sure all know that they are important and valued. She's not only a fabulous teacher in the classroom but outside of it as well. She teaches not only her students but their parents as well and fights for every individual who walks in her classroom. The past year has been difficult for her but you would never know with how amazing and on top of it she is. While some challenges may hold others back, for Mrs. Leavitt, it pushes her forward even more and pushes her to be better for her students.
